The problem
In the drainage sector, PVC hoses are commonly used for the suction of abrasive liquids. A norwegian customer of ours, active in the drainage sector, contacted us as he needed to find a solution to the stiffening and consequent breakage of his hoses caused by the strong cold. PVC, in fact, is normally affected by high temperature changes and is damaged.
The solution
To help the customer, we have therefore developed a superelastic compound which increases the performance of our PVC-hose, guaranteeing its resistance even at very low temperatures, down to -40°.
The Cordflex superior SE hose allowed us to carry out our activities even in the face of very cold temperatures like -40°
